Welcome to our hidden stories craft and educational materials, a perfect tool for your child to improve fine motor skills and practice public speaking.
These hidden stories are a perfect activity for:
- Having fun during an ordinary school day or a rainy day
- Improving fine motor skills through coloring, cutting and pasting
- Practicing public speaking through story telling
Before you start the project, please assemble the following:
- White card stock
- Scissors
- Paper glue
- Six popsicle sticks
- Flashlight
Instructions:
- Print both of the template pages on a white card stock.
- Color the animals with dark vibrant colors.
- Cut the individual cards.
- Apply glue to the shaded frame of the animal cards and glue the back side of the white cards on top of them.
- Glue the popsicle sticks to the back of the animal cards.
- Hold the cards up one at a time and shine the flashlight through their back sides. The animals will come alive!
- Have your child tell you a story about the animals (for example, going to the ZOO).
